Virtual Reality and Education is a combination that brings excitement to the school and classroom. Virtual Reality makes it possible to experience meaningful content in another dimension. Subjects such as Science, Math, Art, History and Social Studies are finding valuable connections in today’s classroom. Teachers are engaging students with expeditions that excite and stimulate the learning process. Virtual Reality is only a few years old in the field of Education. Of the nearly 100,000 schools in America, only about 10 percent are using VR in a meaningful way. Cost has been the primary challenge for most schools. As the cost of VR implementation drops, more schools will make VR a critical component in daily lesson planning.
